CLUB PROFILE:
The North Simcoe ATV Club (NSATV) operates in Simcoe County out of the City of Barrie and the Township of Springwater. The club has 186 members. The NSATV is an OFATV affiliated club founded in March 2003. Our goal is to help develop and sustain a trail system throughout Simcoe County and promote the safe and responsible use of ATVs. The NSATV will work closely with local government agencies to ensure co-operation and communication on relevant issues.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
The NSATV will build a trail system of approximately 2kms on the Stollar Construction Property. The project will require aggregate, equipment rental and fuel. The club will also build a bridge on the Hulst Town Construction property. This will require lumber nails, aggregate and equipment rental and fuel. The work will be completed by volunteers of the NSATV.

AUTHORITY TO UNDERTAKE PROPOSED PROJECT:
Land use agreement forms are completed and attached to the NSATV submission.

INSURANCE WAIVERS FOR VOLUNTEERS:
The work will be completed by NSATV volunteers who will be covered under the OFATV policy.

Not applicable as work will be completed by volunteers.

The NSATV have identified in their budget submission their ability to contribute the financial resources for this project.

OTHER COMMENTS:
The NSATV have provided pictures of the proposed area to be developed.

PROJECT PROMOTIONS:
NSATV has and will be working with our local media on club initiatives. Two free lance reporters will monitor the progress and report on this project. The City of Barrie has provided a link on their website to the NSATV website.

OFATV REVIEW RECOMMENDATION:
This project proposal is complete and the NSATV Club should be notified that they can proceed with their project.
